WRB Enterprises is a diversified holding company with more than 40 years experience in the Caribbean. WRB is the owner of WRB Energy and majority shareholder of Grenlec, Grenada’s electric utility, for which Bob currently serves as Chairman. WRB previously owned majority interests in and successfully divested two other electric utilities: Turks and Caicos Utilities and Domlec (Dominica), both of which Bob served as Chairman. Bob graduated from Emory University with a BA in political science and BA in philosophy.
Robert is a veteran renewable energy executive with more than 25 years of experience sourcing, developing, and managing infrastructure projects, specifically in Latin America and the Caribbean. He has developed renewable energy projects, vertically-integrated utilities, and sustainable infrastructure in Honduras, Uzbekistan, Nigeria, Mauritania, Colombia, Jamaica, Turks and Caicos, Dominica, and the U.S. Robert graduated from The Ohio State University with a BA in wildlife management and journalism and earned an MAIA in business and development economics from Ohio University.
Murray has overall responsibility for the technical and regulatory aspects of WRB’s development projects. Having started his career in the wind energy research field, his primary experience has been in the operations and management of vertically integrated electric utility companies in the Caribbean. Murray has led numerous multi-million-dollar projects in power generation and T&D on small island nations. His work has involved contract management, project management, system planning, renewable energy development and integration, as well as management and regulatory consulting. Murray holds a BSc. degree in Engineering from the University of Leicester, UK, and is a Chartered Engineer, a member of the Institution of Engineering & Technology (IET) and a member of IEEE.
Chris brings extensive utility scale project development experience to the WRB team. His focus is on power marketing, development management, and M&A. Previously, he worked with Foresight Renewables on a 1,000+ MW wind and solar development portfolio with 300+ MW of power contracts with utilities in the southwest United States.
Nathaniel’s expertise is rooted in a strong technical background and advanced knowledge of project finance. Prior to joining WRB, Nathaniel worked as the Director of Resource and Project Assessment at Ridgeline Energy. At Ridgeline, Nathaniel led all technical efforts and helped contribute to the installation and operation of over 320 MW of wind generation.
Rod is an Entrepreneur and Company Director with a track record in launching, managing and selling businesses over the last 30 years. The skills that Rod brings to WRB Energy include New Business Development, Marketing & Sales, Business Process Re-engineering, Information Technology Systems, Systems Analysis Design & Programming, Financial Modeling and Management.
Edgar is an experienced construction and operations manager in the Caribbean. Currently, he serves as VP of Project Management at WRB Energy. Previously, he was a project manager at the Ministry of Science, Technology, Energy & Mining in Jamaica, and General Manager of Turks and Caicos Utilities and Nevis Electricity Company. He held senior management positions in manufacturing and energy operations at Jamaica Public Service Company, Kingston Container Terminal, and Johnson & Johnson. Edgar graduated from the University of Technology in Jamaica with a diploma in electrical engineering, received a BS in electrical engineering from the University of the West Indies, and earned an MBA from Nova Southeastern University.
Bringing 15 years of experience in renewable energy and consulting, Jason spearheads WRB Energy’s efforts to expand into Latin American markets. Focused on business development, project development, and project acquisition, Jason has built a 600MW pipeline of wind and solar development assets throughout the region.
Carrie brings over 30 years of accounting experience to our team. Her tenure with WRB Enterprises, Inc include accounting responsibilities at subsidiary operations level and then, in 1995 she transferred to the parent company as a staff accountant. Carrie earned her AS Accounting degree in 2014 from Hillsborough Community College.
